After receiving a nomination to attend the United States Air Force Academy at the age of 18, my Dad looked at me and said "Well, you didnt know this but i've been saving for your college. Now that it looks like we won't need it, let's buy a rental house" and that's exactly what we did. As a bright eyed teenager, I was now a landlord. From that point forward, I continued at USAFA and bought my second house at 23, right after graduation. I loaded up with roomates in a typical house-hack scenario, removed the popcorn ceiling, painted the kitchen and did a full remodel in the master bath. From that point forward, I got married and moved around with the Air Force for 10 years and became a homeowner, then landlord, 3 more times. We were fortunate enough to pick up a 30-unit campground south of Mt. Rushmore during that time as well. In 2015, I soon found that I wanted to take my investing and business skills to the next level, so I started a property management businesses. We quickly grew to 300 units, 15 employees and a maintenance business to service our units. In 2017, after turning 30, I took a hard look at my life and the direction I was heading. I decided that after moving around many times with the USAF and running full-throttle for 10 years straight, that it was time to grow our family and settle down. We sold our business in 2017 and moved closer to family. It was during this time that I came to realize that my true passion was building brands, scaling businesses, and ultimately putting them on auto-pilot through automation. In 2017, after the sale of our management business, we opened the 7x Automation Agency and have been fortunate enough to serve Real Estate professionals around the country by helping them also put their businesses on auto-pilot through marketing automation, Podio development, and direct response marketing (Facebook & Google).
