Investing Overview Since my wife and I started investing we have been a part of one commercial redevelopment project, two residential flips, bought and sold a few vacant parcels, we are currently on our third "live in flip", we have long term rentals, a small commercial office building and in 2021 we purchased a brokerage and property management office, Raynor Realty. Most of these deals were put together off market. In 2023 we along with a few partners structured the purchase of a small industrial property which operates as a scrap metal recycling facility. Why Real Estate? Like so many in this community, I shifted my life to pursue real estate investing, because of the flexibility it afforded my family. I wanted to spend my time working in such a way that it allowed me to pick up one of my kiddos, any day of the week, and have them spend the day working with me. Career Overview Throughout my career I have enjoyed time in the United States Marine Corps, owned and operated an events venue, operated a mechanical contracting company, and most recently, purchased a property management and brokerage office, Raynor Realty. I am a licensed RE Agent in NC, a licensed commercial and mechanical contractor in NC, and I was able to use the GI Bill to finish an MBA. I now spend my days looking for deals for clients while helping them build and manage their portfolios.
