I'm a veterinarian by trade. Two years ago I started my own consulting business, which has been a blessing. Fortunately, I'm in a position to invest. After losing much of my 401k in 2008, I hesitate investing in the stock market. Real estate became my passion once I realized the control you have over the success of your investments. I began educating myself in real estate six months ago, and only now feel like I'm ready to invest. There is more to learn than I have a lifetime for, however I feel like the best learning I can have now is to actaully go out and do it!
