I signed up with BiggerPockets while reading "How to Invest in Real Estate" with hopes to learn more about investing in real estate and to gain invaluable connections through networking. I am very new to REI but I am ready, able, and willing to learn and work hard to achieve my financial goals. Currently, I am living in the Fort Smith, Arkansas area and am looking for my first real estate investment. I have made a commitment to buy my first property within 6 months. I am working as a Database Administrator/Analyst for a natural gas company and will be using as much of my income from that job to fund my investment properties. I am very determined, driven, excited, and nervous as I begin my journey towards financial freedom.
