Experience: I managed a 24 unit apartment complex for grad students when I was in grad school. I own a SFH, which I am long-distance (≈ 1k miles) managing myself. I bought rehabbed and held a SFH for 12 years then sold in '21. Real Estate Goals: I would like to develop a small portfolio--6 to 12 units, mixture of SFH & small multi-fam--using real estate investing as a "micro-developer" to be a positive influence for place-making in my town, seeking to help shape the city into a more walkable, community-oriented, fiscally-responsible, environmentally-sustainable place. Currently Seeking: I am looking for a multi-family within walking distance of the beach in Milford, CT to do a mixture of AirBnB and long-term. Considering multi-family properties in the Milford, CT area (also consider Birdgeport, Stratford, Derby, Shelton, Ansonia, Orange, West Haven). Would also like to buy either a SFH or small-multi within walking distance of train station in Mystic, CT to Airbnb. Same with Brattleboro, VT. Also, Wilmington, VT (within walking distance of downtown)
