I own two duplexes in Clintonville, a quadplex near Kenny and Henderson, and a duplex in Worthington. I self manage these properties and feel comfortable with that. My properties have built up substantial equity and strongly cash flow. I am planning on expanding my portfolio in the near future, and have the luck to have a high credit rating, a good amount of my own capital, and some wealthy siblings who have developed a fear of the stock market and are looking for alternatives. I am looking for an agent who can use the advantages I have to help me find properties below market value. I am also looking for a property manager, as although I have been successful in this role, I would not be sorry to pass this responsibility on to another who is good at what they do. I do appreciate the insight of others who also own their own rental properties, as they understand my needs better and faster than would otherwise be the case. Finally, I am a scientific/math type, and believe that a mathematical analysis of properties combined with the experience necessary to provide quality inputs into these mathematical models is central to being successful as a real estate investor.
