Cynthia Veenendaal

I'm a licensed and accredited Insurance, Risk Management, and Commercial Real Estate professional experienced in service, sales, and training/mentoring/managing administrative staff. As a natural facilitator, I’m driven by a sincere desire to help and serve others. I understand that listening is the key to communication and this knowledge allows me to effectively communicate and interact within various organizational levels. When needed, I'm able to garner the consideration and support of others in order to complete tasks and accomplish goals. By design, I worked as an independent contractor within the insurance and real estate industries for several years. Though I enjoyed the diversity, challenge, and freedom that contract work provided, I missed the stability and team environment of a full-time position. In October 2017, I accepted a full-time/permanent position with HUB International. In an innovative and dynamic role as a Regional Commercial Lines Account Manager, I currently support various HUB teams throughout the California region; stepping in to provide immediate account management support where and whenever needed. As a remote employee, I’m skilled at long-distance relationship building and am quick to acclimate to new forums. In January 2019, my husband and I decided to enter into the world of Real Estate Investing; as a means of reaching our short and long-term financial goals. Being new to the world of REI, I’m thankful to have found the vast resources available through Bigger Pockets. I look forward to networking with like-minded individuals and hope to someday meaningfully contribute to this awesome community.
