Dakin Cranwell

I am a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Real Estate professional, hospitality maestro, entrepreneur, creative producer, lover of art and culture, and seeker of knowledge. Having resided in Colorado for ten years, I returned home to Tennessee in 2017. While in CO, I studied film at The University of Colorado at Boulder where I worked with 8mm and 16mm film formats. After graduating, I worked as a photographer/videographer on tour with a handful of acts. Not long thereafter, I pursued a degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Denver. Working as a cook, bar-tender and hospitality liaison, I gained a wide array of skills and a broad knowledge base that eventually led to the opening of my first business venture in 2016. The White Whale Room was a coffee-by-day & cocktails-by-night cafe/bar in Denver. Prior to the opening of TWWR, I also produced an independent short film, The Sacred Disease and, later after returning to TN, The Boogeywoman also by director, artist, and life partner - Erica Scoggins. Since returning to Chattanooga, I have taken it upon myself to get reacquainted with this delightful city and its surrounding landscapes. I have since opened another food & beverage establishment, an automated pour-your-own beer bar in a train car called American Draft. I am developing multiple concepts pertaining to food, beverage, retail and entertainment that will be catered to the evolving Chattanooga cultural atmosphere in the years to come. Most recently, I acquired my Tennessee Real Estate license and became an affiliate broker at Keller Williams Realty Downtown. I am aiming to empower people in the Chattanooga area to change the course of their lives through real estate acquisition. I strongly believe that making real estate investments is the single most important factor in establishing generational wealth and prosperity for you and your family. This has all led me to my first real estate investment acquisition. In August of 2019, a partner and I bought 3 duplexes on an owner financed deal and the rest is about to be history!
