I'm a straight shooting Veteran investing, in British Columbia Canada. I have my Real Estate license here, so when I'm not investing, I like to help friends, family, and other investors navigate their way through this lucrative market. I built my first portfolio using the Buy and Hold method between 2003 and 2010 in a small town in Ontario. In 2015 I was featured on the Joe Fairless Podcast "Best Real Estate Investing Advice Ever" (https://joefairless.com/podcast/jf277-the-4th-d-of-real-estate-deals-you-need-to-know-today/) where I talked about finding poorly run properties. This advice still guides my investing today. In 2020 I sold my original portfolio to move my assets closer to me. I used 2021 as a "proof of concept year" where I did my first BC BRRR and put systems into place that give me a competitive edge (fast and convenient private financing, real estate and property management license). 2022 is the year of Capital Raising, system refinement and scaling.
