Dalmar Segrest-Brooks

Hey, my name is Dalmar Brooks I'm 24 years old, new to bigger pockets and to real state. I started a business in web development called Digital Versatility, February 2018. The reason I'm here is that after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad I realized that I should be making my money work for me / building a cash flow instead of always having to put in long hours of web development in order to earn funds. I have never brought I property before and I am currently looking to invest in small multi-family homes ranging from duplexes to 4plex using my Military VA loan if possible. My first property I'm looking I will be house hacking it, meaning I will live in one unit and rent the others out. I do not have 20% of a downpayment for the home and my credit score is 640. My problem is the banks don't consider my companies pay as income because of it so recent, so I'm here humbly asking for advice from people that may have been in similar situations because I personally am at a loss.
