I began buying houses in 2011 (before that I was a professional musician) and I currently have a few houses that I rent out and I flip one about every 3 months (the length of time required to own a short sale house to sell it to somebody using an FHA loan). I am planning on buying more houses to rent out from the profits I make flipping which I use a home equity line of credit to purchase. My rental houses are paid for.
