I have been in supply chain in the food industry my entire career. I am 48 years old and ready to start my second career. I had some money saved up and decided to take the plunge into real estate investment. I completed my second multi-unit building purchase in February. The first purchase (South Seattle) has been a major learning opportunity but the second (Tacoma) appears to be a solid investment. Still lots to learn but I cannot say I have not enjoyed this experience so far. There is nothing easy about it but I definitely see why there are so many of us doing it. I have my sites set on the long-term. We might even see some buying opportunities pop up with this unprecedented health scare just starting to grip the country. Good luck to all of you!!
