Hello fellow BP-ers! Bigger Pockets deserves all of the credit for getting me into Real Estate! "Danielle was raised in the glorious lands of Boise, ID and Salt Lake City, UT. She credits the lighting of her “Real Estate” fire to when she managed a hospitality team in the Alaskan bush at a “Rustic Luxury” fishing lodge surrounded by bears. There, she became obsessed with living completely off-grid, creative building solutions, design, and intentional living. Every square inch of building material, boats, and food was delivered one piece at a time by float plane. After taking care of her guests and serenading them by the campfire, everyone happily wandered back to their 150 square foot cabins with full bellies of salmon and bear spray in hand. Everyone cozied up when the generator went off at 11:00pm and eyes anxiously awaited the northern lights. This native wilderness experience allowed her to meet incredible people from all over the world which inspired her to make her own trek down to South America. Here, she slept in random places, got bed bugs, and was continuously awestruck by the ingenuity and creative sleeping solutions people envisioned when money wasn’t available. She discovered Hostels, AirBnb’s, “Tiny Homes,” & returned to the states with great plans! Upon returning, Danielle had little money but was determined to buy a house. As the resourceful person she is, she scoured the internet and found a grant that enabled her to buy the cheapest home for sale in Salt Lake City. She transformed this tiny house into a one-bedroom unit with a private studio that now covers all her bills (and she won’t stop talking about it)! She developed a love for helping others design ways to make a house their home despite money or a house’s outward appearance. When she’s not hosting an Estate Sale, remodeling a camper, or helping others set up their vacation rentals, she can be found playing indoor soccer, snowboarding, or eating outrageous amounts of junk food. Danielle is a lover of people, her family, of all things Utah, and aspires to become a minimalist and travel the world as much as possible!
