I started my career in the real estate industry in 2015 as a Realtor focusing on the Cleveland & Akron (Ohio) markets. However, I soon realized that finding and acquiring value-add apartment buildings was much more interesting. I partnered with other investors and started acquiring these types of properties in 2019. After gaining experience in the commercial space, I decided to branch out and try my hand at flipping single family homes. While this was a profitable venture, the stress of managing multiple projects at once with no systems became overwhelming. In 2021, I refocused my efforts on the short-term rental market and began building systems and processes to efficiently purchase and manage our Airbnb properties. I found that this niche was not only profitable, but also allowed for a better work-life balance. We recently launched our STR management company "HomeHop" and currently own/manage 16 Airbnb properties around Cleveland, Ohio. We utilize tech and AI to help streamline pricing strategies, ranking higher in Airbnb search results, saving money on utility bills and more. We're launching a fund closer to Q4 of 2023 which will help acquire an additional 20-25 STR's around the NE Ohio market (this is not an offering). Overall, my journey in the real estate industry has been a mix of different strategies and experiences, and I'm excited to continue growing and expanding in the short-term rental market around Cleveland, OH.
