My daytime job is working as a bank examiner for the Texas Department of Banking. I own one duplex in Killeen, Texas, that I purchased in December 2017. I also own a 4BR house in San Antonio. I recently started to house hack, renting out one room in my house. I plan on purchasing another small multifamily in San Antonio by the end of 2021. The MF market here is very tight now, it is hard to cash flow. My goal is to reach $6,000/month in passive income in five years. I am considering obtaining my real estate license, but not sure if I will yet. Any advice on this is appreciated. I love learning about real estate and am very grateful to learn from the Bigger Pockets community.
