I started my real estate investing career in New Zealand when I was 25. My first deal was a disaster. I didn't do another one until I was 32. Which was when I read yeah yeah, Rich Dad Poor Dad. I did 2 more deals and then did a development project. I then moved to the US and sold up everything in NZ over a couple of years and started again in Denver & Kansas City. Denver has been amazing, Kansas not so much so I got out of there and moved into self storage. I partnered with 3 other investors and raised money to buy a facility in Las Vegas and build one in Colorado Springs, the business is Maximum Storage. I've since moved into STRs and own 2 properties in Playa Potrero in Costa Rica.
