My real estate business started in my garage (literally) after a successful trial run renting out my garage to a neighbor looking for some extra space. I then moved into quaint century old single family rentals on large lots, focusing on being an apartment-alternative with backyards and and no shared walls in great walkable neighborhoods with excellent schools. I'm now in the process of developing these properties into two-on-a-lot multi-family by adding accessory dwelling units (ADUs) while still maintaining the single family feel for my tenants.
