About me: My name is David but everyone calls me Rey (short for Reynaldo my middle name). I served 9 years in the United States Marine Corps and was honorable discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. I am currently working as an accountant at EY and pursuing my CPA license, while keeping my ear to the ground for networking opportunities as well as deals. I purchased my first investment property in 2020 and I am currently seeking to expand my rental portfolio with the goal of replacing my W-2 income with rental income. After which I would love to travel the world while continuing to invest passively. Niche: I'm currently looking for single family properties (1-4 units) in the San Diego area for buy and hold investing. I would also like to try my hand at doing a couple of flips.
