Dean Boyer

I am a high school teacher and coach. I have bachelors in Math and Business Education. I also have a Masters in Math Education. I currently teach College Algebra, Trig, Calculus, and Stats for college credits at our high school. I coach wrestling and football. My wife and I also have a successful lawncare business. I spray about 500 yards each spring and fall application. Experience: We currently one duplex, one 3-plex, two 5-plex and 13 single families. Real Estate Goals: I am 49 right now and would like to retire at the age of 60 with 16 doors paid for. With teacher retirement that would make for a comfortable retirement income and more. Things have changed since I set my goals at 49. I am 54 right now and formed and LLC with my kids. We currently have 28 doors and growing. I was diagnosed with leukemia a year ago and went through rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant. We have sold our lawn care company. We are heading in the right direction. 56 now had skin cancer on my nose bad enough that they had to remove my left half of my nose, forehead flap, radiation but we have not slowed in our investing. We are up to 35 doors, 11 single family, 1 7-plex, 2-5 plex, 2 duplex, 1 3-plex. Currently looking into an out of state mobile home park. I am not sure we will go that way. I still teach and coach.
