We have decided to begin a business in real estate investing. We have spent the last several months reading everything we can get our hands on. Recently we attended a conference locally-but it became clear rather quickly that they wanted to make you feel good about being 'chosen' to give them 50k to teach you how to be a 'professional' investor. We have 4 kids, we both work long hours-this was not an option for us. I am looking for a way to get started-with concerted, well thought out effort/instruction and a long term goal of ultimately doing investing full time. Any help you can offer I would greatly appreciate.
