Patricia Thompson

I am originally from the east coast (prior to 2001) and moved around much of my younger life. I've always loved the outdoors and been very active, so Colorado was a natural destination. I am a certified Professional Project Manager (PMP) and skills that I trust will come in handy in REI. I am a self-starter and put myself through college, getting first my BA and then later my MS in Computer Science. I started in IT with federal subcontracting for NASA/DoD/Pentagon in the Washington DC area and then joined a cutting edge startup doing Application Hosting & Services, which was later purchased by a very large IT company. I currently do full-time IT project management as a telecommuter. I have a stellar reputation for customer service and successfully managing challenging deliveries using virtual teams located around the world. And yes, I'm also one of those high energy Type A people. I am passionate about everything I do, I love helping people, and finding solutions to tough problems. I put a high value on integrity and walk the walk. My husband and I are empty- nesters and are going all-out to embrace this new chapter in our lives. We are also all about personal development and have made a tremendous investment in our future. Our last child went into the Navy in 2014 and we became empty nesters. We then attended Tony Robbin's UPW, eager to figure out the next chapter of our lives. We then signed up and attended Date with Destiny in Dec 2015, and will be attending Business Mastery in Aug 2016 and Life Wealth Mastery in Sept 2016. We then found REI. We are currently working with a team of REI investors, believe in the value of mentorship, and are also very eager to connect with like-minded peers.
