David Dewey Johnson

I help companies make previously impossible products with advanced 3D printers. I am a remote worker for HP 3D printers and I live in downtown Chicago and am househacking a 3 unit building (Avondale neighborhood). What does 3D printing have to do with real estate? Everything. I have endless passion, joy and drive for 3D printing and I will be in this field for the rest of my life. It was a serendipitous situation that I could work for a business with revolutionary technology and not have to relocate. It is an opportunity that is unlikely to repeat itself and I will be ready whenever my next transition is. I started my investment company Hey, House It Going? (yes, I smile every time I say it) to give a foundation for my life goals. I always improve myself mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially and love to help others on the same path. Real estate investing gives me the freedom to continue to grow. I'm newer to real estate but my experience is well established for what makes me great at what I do. I've been a sales engineer and application engineer for 7+ years. I take my years of experience in sales, prospecting, negotiations, customer relationships and closing $1,000,000 deals with Fortune 500 companies and universities and bring them into my wholesaling process. CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR: - Meetups I will call home in the Chicago area - Meeting investors for tea (ask me about my crazy collection of tea), lunch/dinner or drinks - Anyone involved in 3D printing buildings WHAT I'M COMMITTING TO: - My goal is to split my career as a 3D printing consultant and real estate investor. - Transparency about my process to investors and sellers. My strengths and enjoyments are in generating and negotiating great deals and I work with others who have strengths in rehab, rentals, and flipping. - Learning and executing. I love learning new things that can 10x my business and then finding ways to implement them. This is why networking is so powerful and exciting!
