Hi BiggerPockets. I've been a homeowner for nearly 12 years now and for the last 2 years I have been remodeling my home with the goal of renting it out and buying a new home. At this point I've completed all remodeling and Landscaping. I've begun the tenant screening process and am expecting to find my first tenant in the next few weeks. I'm passionate about is Buy and Hold. I believe that having that real estate and Equity at your fingertips is incredibly valuable for successful future acquisitions. Experience: My real estate experience is limited to the house I'm in for the last 12 years. During that 12 years I have learned how to take care of a house and nearly every possible aspect I have remodeled most of the house and done a lot of landscaping. I have made more mistakes than I care to admit to but in the end it has only made me more knowledgeable landlord 04/24/18 Well two years have passed since I first joined BP and I now have a tenant about to sign their third list with me. I feel so lucky to have found these tenants on my first rental. It makes the beginning so much easier. I have worked with a attorney to setup a holding company and a subsidiary for the property. I have setup bank account for both the holding company and the property company. I try to follow the advice I get from BP. I am open to all feedback and advice. I am now searching for my second rental property and pretty sure I want to get a multi-family property
