Hello! I am from the Metro St. Louis area (Illinois side of the river) and have both grad/undergrad degrees in business. I am a former Loan Officer, Underwriter, Appraisal Analyst, and am now a Business Operations Coordinator for a large scale mortgage company. My wife, Erin and I own a 4-plex and two single family rentals (started about 3.5 years ago). Published author: My wife and I wrote a "diary" covering all of our day-to-day experiences during the first four years of our real estate investing journey. The book is called: Landlord Life: The Diary of a New Real Estate Investor. Experience: My wife and I bought our first 4 unit multi-family early 2015. We have since added 2 SFR's and are looking to purchase a few more SFR's in the next 12-18 months. Real Estate Goals: To slowly build a buy and hold portfolio. We plan to try and purchase 1-2 properties each of our first few years, and then the plan is to let it snowball after that.
