I have always found the value in home ownership and wanted to own my own home. It placed me in an area of Detroit that wasn't very developed and overlooked by a lot of the investors. I was able to acquire 4 more homes and 6 vacant lots through the market and also the city auction. I have done a lot of the work myself as my family was always into construction and building their own homes. I am now looking to rehab 2 of the 4 and also expand into other areas of Detroit as there are still some REALLY great deals out there.
