My wife and I bought our first property in 2010 in Charleston, SC. Lived in the house and then turned into a rental for 4 years. Sold it and did our first 1031 to buy a 6 flat in Berwyn, IL. We then purchased a 3 flat in Andersonville, Chicago, top unit is Airbnb and bottom 2 LTR. Just left Washington and moving to Nashville, TN to look for next property.
