Deana Boozer

I have spent a lot of time gaining information about REI and worked myself into analysis paralysis, but I am ready to shake it off and jump in. I know about hard work, struggle, sacrafice, and proving yourself. Although I have done many things in my life, being a barber is what I have made a career at thus far. I started cutting hair for $10 on Broadway in Gary, IN and (7 years later) am currently the co-owner and master barber at The Suite Spot Beauty & Barber in Chicago, IL. Although barbering is what I decided to make a living doing, real estate has always been a passion of mine. I have always been able to look through the reality to see potential, and that is why I want to flip real estate. Growing up in Gary, there are delapidated structures everywhere. It has always been my dream to make homes purposeful again, to make neighborhoods vital again, to make people take pride in their surroundings again. I know this is a super long intro, but I think it's important to help you guys out there, my potential partners, understand why I'm here. I'm not a young kid that saw Flip This House and thought it was an easy way to make money. Being a full time REI has been something that will fulfill my spirit... and fill my pocket... ;-) Nothing wrong with that!
