I have been working in both real estate and the construction industry for around 10 years. I first obtained my real estate license and was working as a real estate agent before the market collapse in 2008. Once the market soured, I began working with a general contractor who rehabbed properties that were damaged through an insurable loss and brought the properties back to life again. We also worked with some property management companies who used our general contacting services to rehab investment properties for the purpose of putting them on the rental market. All of these ventures have been extremely profitable and I know the experience gained through all of these different ventures will give me a realistic picture of the next phase of the investment process!
