My spouse and I are the financially-independent owners of a rental property in Waipio Gentry (Waipahu) on Oahu. We're not planning to expand our real estate holdings. However we're discussing the perpetual debate of holding a house which is age-in-place friendly (and a lifetime of landlording) versus selling to invest the profits in the stock market. I'm the one who wants to sell, and she feels a tremendous sense of security at having a bird in the hand.
