My wife and I fix and manage properties in the Indianapolis market. We are focused on creating a portfolio of properties to create a passive income in our retirement. We both hold full-time jobs with the plans to retire in the next 10 years. Experience: My wife and I have been investing since 2007. We have multiple properties that we own, rent, and manage. All of the properties that we own have been fix and hold properties focusing on the ability to flip if necessary. We have never flipped any of our properties. I also have experience in drywall, flooring, electrical, plumbing, and most construction work. I have worked in the past in the construction and electrical trades. I can perform most repairs required with the knowledge I have obtained. Real Estate Goals: To obtain additional rental properties (SF or MF) to build a cash flow portfolio for retirement. Normally we search for properties in Indianapolis that require hands on work. In the short term we are looking to add multiple properties in Indianapolis that are a minimum 1.5% properties in B neighborhoods. Currently Seeking: A SFH or duplex to fix and hold. Potential deals in the Indianapolis area. It just needs to be right for us. We are not afraid to get our hands dirty in the repairs.
