I am a CPA who specialized in real estate LLC’s - 704b basis issues, 754 step up and tax planning for 1031 exchanges. I have since moved from WI to FL and work at a global property mgmt company in Corp. I am looking to quit my 9-5 so I can learn to flip a house.... With everything coming w tax credits and OZ’s, I want to know front to end processes for when things are rolled out, and be able to be one step ahead of the game. I am looking to house hack in St Pete, as I just sold my personal residence in Tampa. Looking to share skills and talents of mine with whomever I can help in return for being shown the ropes, or a JV if it’s a good fit. I hope to buy and hold property, of course want to learn how to do a flip, and life tax plans within the RE sector. I have so many ideas and I love learning but need help with how to execute.
