I'm new to both investing and real estate investing, but I'm excited to learn and build a strong financial future. At 48, I didn't receive much financial education growing up, and it wasn't until I discovered personal finance podcasts in 2025 that I really began my financial education. One of my favorites is *BiggerPockets Money*, and more recently I discovered the *BiggerPockets Real Estate Podcast*, which sparked my interest in real estate investing. I recently finished reading *How to Invest in Real Estate* by Josh Dorkin and Brandon Turner, and it reinforced my excitement to get started. I'm here to learn from the community, connect with like-minded investors, and take consistent steps toward building long-term wealth through real estate. I'm looking forward to the journey and to contributing as I gain experience.
