My wife and I have retired through real estate, and have invested in over 5,000 doors both passively and actively. We've done some wholesaling and flipping but our wealth came from buy & hold real estate. We started with single family and within a few years moved to apartments. We have now syndicated over 800 apartment units, raised over $30M in equity and have $100M in assets under management. One of our biggest points of pride is that two of our apartment complexes have won Kingsley Awards, an honor bestowed upon a handful of properties every year that have high levels of satisfaction among their residents.
