I, along with my beautiful wife "Kristi", run a medical practice. We both make a good paycheck but work really long hours. Family, vacation or volunteering? Forget about it.  Financially, the best thing I've had going for me, if anything is (a) steady paycheck for the last 10+ years (b) previous home we kept and rent with 110k equity (c) primary residence on a 15 year note with 100k equity (d) 790 credit score.   At 45 I'm nowhere near where I need to be. My parents and my in-laws are getting older of course and my wife and I would like for them to live with us when they are ready. We want to make sure they are safe and well taken care of.
