I had been reading books listening to Bigger Pockets, Investor Grit, and Simple Wholesaling for a few months. I was driving for dollar and walking neighborhoods knocking on doors to find deals on the weekends. I decided I was going to quit my job and start doing this full time without even having one deal. I did that till my funds ran dry and I realized I had no idea what I was doing. I reached out to a local wholesaler in the Kansas City area and when he heard my story offered me a job because he knew I was motivated.
