Growing up in San Francisco, my interest in the real estate world started from a young age that only grew over time and eventually led me into my chosen career. In my current role, I manage and operate a portfolio of commercial properties in the downtown areas of San Francisco consisting of office, retail and industrial space. I seek to leverage the skills and knowledge I've acquired over years from experienced investors and institutional landlords to pursue my own real estate investments. Currently, I personally own and operate six units across two small multi-family properties in the east Bay Area. One is a duplex I hold on my own, and the other is a 4-plex I own with three partners. My investment objectives are to acquire more small multi-family assets with small to moderate value-add potential that produce positive cash-flow with leverage ideally within 30 miles of San Francisco. My goals for 2020 include acquiring one more of the above-mentioned type of asset with partners or as a general partner in a syndication. I'm seeking one or two partners that share my vision, objectives, work ethic, and competencies complementary to mine. The BP platform has provided an excellent opportunity to meet other investors and potential partners and I hope to continue to grow my team and network via this channel. This year I'm also in the process of getting my CA broker's license to form my own brokerage that will specialize in advising real estate investors in the residential and small multi-family space, a niche that is in my opinion largely lacking in the business.
