About myself

Experience: I had my first rental property back in 1999 (Seattle) and started self managing in 2003. I got up to 2 Single Family Homes 3/1, 2 Duplexes 2/1 and 1 four unit 2/1 that I self managed all while working a 70 hour per week job ( Kenosha WI and Waukegan IL). I really enjoyed the landlord game. All are gone due personal issues...i'll label it divorce and being over leveraged (2008). Now I'm back in the game since 2015, using property managers this time.. I'm older and wiser and understand the value of time. I have: 3 units Cleveland OH area 8 units Columbus, OH. 37 units in South Shore Chicago, IL Plan to grow and get to a point where the rentals will make working for the man a waste of time. I have used BRRRR before and take any deal that has numbers that you can't lose on.. I've been really lucky so far since I'm out of state with all of my deals... Real Estate Goals: Cash flow to replace income then quit working for the man. Currently Seeking: Knowledge to maximize opportunities. My advise to anyone thinking about getting into this investment game and are hesitating. Whenever you run your numbers on a property and you do your due diligence there is nothing more you can do. If everything makes sense make your move and get the property. Forget about hitting home runs each time. Once you are in with a property always remember the mortgage and the payments/expenses are all known items and should stay the same but the rent over time is going to increase so if the numbers make sense in the beginning they are going to make even more sense in the future with the property value and the rents rising.
