UPDATE: I stuck to my goal and I am currently house-hacking a duplex. I will be purchasing another multi family this year, and plan on investing in more multi family properties in the future! Hello everyone, I am searching for a duplex in Philadelphia, PA. My plan is to purchase w/ a FHA loan (will use 203k if needed), occupy one unit and rent out the other. I am interested to know how long it has taken others in a similar market to buy a duplex and it'll be great to get feedback from others using a FHA loan.
