How fun is it to find something of value? Of course, sometimes, it needs a little help to reveal its potential. We started with flip houses and investing in value-add C-class multifamily in the Southern US. Coolest project? Converting a C/D apartment building into a furnished travel nurse housing solution. We are buying retail buildings leaning on past experience from my corporate career. I enjoy the process of problem-solving, collaborating within my growing network, using different deal structures, financing methods, and finding diamonds amongst chunks of discarded coal. We want to be a part of responsible community renewal without dislocating #gentrification. We find underperforming properties in the southeast US and through capital improvements and structured management, they create safe, clean, comfortable homes for the residents with solid financial returns for investor partners. Through donating, re-purposing, and recycling, we strive to use all resources to the best of our abilities during rehab. Eliminating waste is a natural part of our values that attracted us to turn neglected properties back into homes. I have been literally flipping trash into treasures my whole life. As a kid, I would be dumpster diving on Friday and selling at the flea market on Saturday. Being a former Army Engineer and a veteran of Desert Storm, I have a background in construction and the tenacity to complete a mission. After a long B2B Corporate Sales & Service career, I went full-time into real estate investing along the Alabama Gulf Coast. We learned how to achieve substantial risk-adjusted returns by selecting the right markets and properties and then implementing moderate to extensive renovations. With a string of successful real estate transactions, we have built a reputation of consistent returns for our lenders and private money partners.
