Had a rental SFR in Yucca Valley, CA back in 2008 for a few years I purchased via a foreclosure listing, rented it out to pay the mortgage and flipped it for a decent profit. Wish I "went bigger" on the renovations to make a bigger profit on the flip like the next owner did.
