In June of 2017 I decided that I was going to pursue investing in real estate and becoming a landlord. I knew I didn't know enough at the time, so I set a date for myself in December 2017 at which time I would take the leap and become pre-approved with a lender and begin searching for my first deal. That gave me 5 months to learn as much as I could about investing and landlording. I own three single-family properties and I house hack a fourth. I plan to add more properties in the future. My current goal is to own 6 properties. After I achieve that goal, I'll set a new goal. I have a degree in Management and in Finance from Saint Cloud State University.
