Hey, BiggerPockets community! My name is Erik and I wish I would've known about this site sooner. I only found out about the Bigger Pockets forum from listening to another podcast, which motivated me to sign up to learn more about the Bigger Pockets community. My wife is a cost accountant and I a financial analyst and swing equities trader, so going over the numbers is not a problem for us. She's very risk averse, while I, on the other hand, love risk! I am constantly reading and love learning, especially from other people because that's always been my life motto, "Never stop learning." This dogged persistence to constant learning has led me to acquire a few skills along the way such as website development and online marketing (Wordpress, Google Adwords, Facebook), a few programming languages (HTML, CSS, JS, PYTHON, PHP), mobile app development, and Photoshop. I am here to learn more from the Bigger Pockets professionals, mentorship, or partnering up for potential investments. My contribution to the Bigger Pockets community will be by sharing my experiences with contractors, which, IMHO, are your lifeline if you wish to succeed in real estate investing. So treat them with respect, PAY THEM on time or offer them a bonus for completing tasks on/ before schedule, and they will gladly follow you to the next one.
