I've been studying real estate investing off and on since 1994 and built a nice portfolio in the early 2000s but obviously don't have all the answers as I got financially banged up pretty bad in the downturn. I'm thankful I kept my friends, family, and health through it all. Now I have financially recovered and more and need to avoid the next one.
