New to investing! After 4+ years of learning and preparing myself to purchase my first property I have purchased a house hack in Orem, UT. Currently my family and I live in the main level of the home and the basement apartment is rented out, paying more than half of my mortgage. I am excited to see what is to come for the future. My goal in the near future is to move out of our current house in mid 2021 to bring my cashflow at roughly 700$ a month. Providing me with the opportunity to find the next deal. My long term goal is to obtain financial independence in real estate investing to get out of the rat race. I am interested in another house hack, partnering and investing out of state in less expensive markets that cashflow.
