I'm a Raleigh area full-time real estate investor. Over the past ten years, I've gathered a wealth of investment strategies, including fix and flip and long and short-term rentals. Yet, my heart truly lies in short-term rentals. I hail from upstate New York, where my upbringing was shaped by a police officer father and an entrepreneurial-minded 'stay at home' mother. I witnessed their journey, which took us from dumpster diving to achieving financial freedom through self-education and hard work. Their path, which began with flipping furniture as a hobby and eventually evolved into real estate ventures, aimed to provide my sisters and me with a better life. This inspiring journey profoundly impacted me, igniting a desire to follow in their footsteps. Despite earning a Master's in Anthropology from Western Washington University and spending five years in the tech startup world as a digital marketer and SEO professional, my true calling always brought me back to real estate. I spent a decade in Seattle, followed by seven transformative years in Spain where I flipped numerous historic and beachside properties.
