Born again real estate investor. I'm a former real estate agent that bought a couple houses in 2007. After 3 years of buying rental houses (six over those 3 years) I hit a slump, due to being improperly educated about real estate investing by a family member. Fast forward to January 2018... I joined a local investor group and learned so much about what I had been missing. After talking with my banker about what I wanted to do, I've been able to buy 3 more houses in the past 3 months... two rentals and one fix & flip. I hope to grow my portfolio in the coming years, along with educating myself more and more. Hopefully I can also partner with someone on a few joint ventures. I have a family I'm in love with and keeps me motivated to succeed. Besides real estate, if there is anything I could do day in and day out it would be traveling. Plane, train, boat, or automobile, I don't care, just let me see the world.
