I owned, rented, and managed three condominiums over 15 years. After a complete reno on one of these, I sold all and got out of the landlord business. I also invested in and flipped a property with my partner. It was not a good experience. In early 2022, I purchased, updated, and now manage a short-term rental in Davenport, FL. I'm hoping to get a second STR in '23, in a different market. I'm open to doing a little reno if it means getting a better deal. I am also interested in the BRRRR method of buying property or maybe turn-key LTRs. House hacking a duplex or tri-plex also appeals to me. I also own a digital marketing agency with a focus on real estate - websites, SEO, lead-gen, etc. Hoping to leave this rat race behind one day!
