While I was a full time Deputy Sheriff I started managing REO properties for banks. I had a 21" mower in the back of my ford Tauris. I would clean out the houses with rented Uhaul trucks. I expanded that to owning a fleet of landscaping equipment and trucks to handle the REO demand (all paid off cash). I knew that this cash cow wouldn't last so I began to buy houses, apartment buildings and commercial units with my profits. When I began buying homes I have rehabbed over 8 duplex's with my own two hands. Since then I have rehabbed over 38 doubles and 6 apartment buildings with my crews.This experience has given me the advantage of knowing rehab costs and keeping contractors honest. I have now accumulated over 80 doors of my own at this point.
