I own/manage over 2 dozen buildings; a couple of triplexes, duplexes, and single families. My business partner and I plan to continue to grow our portfolio with our end goal to be involved in 100 - 300 unit complexes. Currently, I am managing 70 to 90 tenants in my homes. Recently (12/2017), my wife and I also purchased two - two story commercial buildings in Rocky Mount, NC and are beginning the renovation process. Experience: In 2003-05 I was a mortgage refi specialist. I learned a great deal about what lenders look for and how credit is interpreted. For about a year (2010-11) I worked as an REO Asset Coordinator for a Keller Williams Agent. I managed up to 25 properties from Bank of America, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and a couple local banks. I took the properties from the banks in dire shape, managed the repairs, evictions, cash for keys, maintenance, contracts and closing. I closed 54 properties during this year. Member of Triangle Real Estate Investors Association (TREIA) 2009 - Present. Real Estate Goals: Create a sustainable passive real estate income. My partner and I have found a sweet spot in our region and are going at it full force. I also want to meet young investors and help teach and mentor them along the way. Currently Seeking: Low end properties to add to our rooming house collection. Also interested in private money looking for returns of 8%-10% annually.
