I am a retired mental health counselor who owns one 3 family apartment in a small town in central Massachusetts. I am 70 years old and am done with being a landlady. However, I can't afford to sell it and get a paltry 6% ROI. I'm between a rock and a hard place. I read all the benefits of being wealthy with real estate. I bought it for 230 and will sell for 590 so the capital gains is crazy.
